We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Partnerships Team as a Development Manager, working with our Head of Land and New Business, to help us continue to meet this ambition.
You will contribute to seeking new land opportunities for development by Watford Community Housing and our commercial arm, Clarendon Living, both independently and in partnerships with others.
Relationships with our partners are central to the success of this role. In this dual role you will contribute to the effective leadership and growth of the Clarendon Living subsidiary and its associated joint venture companies, to deliver the strategic objective to complete 680 new homes by March 2025. Operating for Watford Community Housing, you will be required to develop a pipeline to complete 900 new homes by March 2025.
The ideal candidate for this role will have recent and relevant experience in procuring and developing new opportunities within a similar role. As such, you’ll be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in delivering sites and maintaining excellent relationships, working collaboratively with partners within and outside the Group.
In addition, it is essential you:
Have experience of development appraisal software (ProVal LS and bespoke business plans)
Have a high level of skill in developing and maintaining excellent relationships, working collaboratively with both internal and external partners
Possess the ability and skills to negotiate at a high level, being mindful of relationships and the local political environment
