About Compliance & Regulatory and the Role

The Regulatory and Compliance team's primary focus is to ensure product formulation, labelling and website compliance for all THG Nutrition and Beauty brands globally. THG owns and operates many leading brands including, Grow Gorgeous, Mio Skincare, ESPA and MyProtein.

THG is looking to recruit a Projects Systems Compliance Manager (Regulatory). This is an exciting opportunity within a busy department to push the compliance processes and its importance throughout the business. This role requires strong management skills, prioritising skills and great attention to detail.


  • Managing Smartflow tool for the NPD/Existing product reformulations driven by Procurement, SQA, NPD via online process project management tool – ensuring all flows we currently have are fit for purpose.
  • Managing workflows for NPD/EPD product reformulations for all Global Teams ensuring roll out to NPD, Procurement, SQA etc to ensure full buy in of process.
  • Work with stakeholders to carry out a gap analysis to ensure all categories and global locals are considered. Consider SLA for all tasks are reviewed and achievable.
  • Template for each Region fit for purpose / identify different processes. New markets access – creating dedicated SF workflows for new markets as we move forward.
  • Support Compliance team in progressing to be "Global" remit – ensuring process is clear for team on developing and approving India specs and ANZ specs initially, then over time USA specs and other regulatory regions (GCC, Singapore etc).
  • Ensure process management tool training is provided as needed for R&C teams – new users/admin. Train the super users within the global team to be contacts for system for their specific region.
  • Ensure documentation for project management tool is kept up to date and ensure clear understanding by all team users.
  • Housekeeping of process management tool i.e. remove redundant users, ensure tasks are not left unfinished when they should be used closed off or moved to other users, removal of redundant flows., complete "help" section of each task to assist in completion of steps.
  • Manage reporting on process management tool to benefit and improve compliance/department use. Continuous improvement for the team ensuring that SmartFlow/Oracle/NCR being raised keeping numbers low. Ensuring best practice is being followed at all times. Offering support/training if necessary.
  • NPD to consult R&C Process Manager as "go to" for global compliance process.
  • Monitors SLA timings to be able to respond to business needs and accountability.
  • Support with NPD move to new project management and recipe management tool. ( Professor)
  • Process support to drive NCR continuous improvement and RCA's


  • Experience with drafting and establishing internal processes, policies (preferably related to regulatory compliance) and training them out to internal staff is essential
  • Experience working with specifications, labelling compliance, product registration, claims desirable
  • Organised and capable of prioritising, good attention to detail, confident decision maker
  • Strong communication skills, great stakeholder management skills, able to effectively communicate with higher level management within the wider business
  • Understanding of Food Labelling Regulations with commercial understanding; is desired
  • Proven track record and experience managing complex workload
